We carry many different pre-bagged materials including polymeric (hardening) sand and cement mixes.
Polymeric Sand: This sand contains special polymers which allow it to harden after being wet. It is used as a more permanent material between interlocking joints. It helps to deter weeds and insects. We carry Unilock, Oaks and Permacon polymeric sands.
Envirobond Sand: EnviroSAND and EnviroSTONE use an environmentally friendly, organic binder to join the fines of crushed stone together. Water activates the binder, which swells into a glue-like gel. After saturation, the stone will harden to minimize erosion and weed infestation while giving the strength needed in your joints or base.
Silicia Sand: Comes in white or black, this fine sand can be used in between joints for a striking look.This sand is toxic – do not use around children or pets!
Bomix Jointing Sand: A fine sweeping sand that is pre-bagged. It does not harden like polymeric sand, however it can be used in combination with Unilock’s Joint Sand Stabilizing Sealer to achieve the same effect.
Portland Cement: A general purpose cement, suitable for all basic concrete uses. Portland cement is an ingredient to be mixed with various quantities of aggregate or sand to produce concrete or sand mixes.
Masonry Cement Type S: Masonry cement type S is a mix of regular portland cement, finely ground minerals and additives. Masonry cement type S produces mortars with higher mechanical resistance than masonry type N and is therefore recommended for construction requiring higher adhesion and greater compressive and flexural strengths.
Concrete Mix: This all-purpose concrete mix composed of portland cement, sand and stone can be used for any indoor or outdoor applications, where a thickness of 5 cm (2 in) or more is requested. It is ideal for floors, sidewalks, pillars, patios as well as footings and foundation walls.
Mortar Mix: a ready-to-use blend of masonry cement and fine sands. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is recommended for binding masonry elements such as bricks, concrete blocks and stones.
Pro-Patch: This product can be used cold to patch up small cracks and potholes in asphalt.
